Summary[edit | edit source]

Humans are one of the six races in Jungalore. They are known to boast extra defensive capabilities, and are very well balanced for any beginning character. Due to their starting defensive boost, they have the capability to survive many of the early enemies in the world.

Humans all come with a special version of escape, and they come with additional resistance to statuses.

They were once the dominant race on Jungalore until the cataclysm. This caused the main town of Cyndar to be taken over by massive numbers of demons. Now, most humans live on the edges of society, such as in Fort Frenga. Most are religious in their convictions, and tend to choose to follow a religious faith or none. However, it is common practice for religious humans to punish non-believers and heretics.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Humans are bipedal, with skin and hair. Adult humans are generally five feet to a little over six feet tall. They have arms, legs, a torso, and a head, and are one of the three races that lacks a tail. Males and females differ physiologically, with females tending to be slightly shorter with narrower shoulders and wider hips, and men tending to be slightly taller with broad shoulders and facial hair. Females also have breasts of varying cup sizes.

History[edit | edit source]

From the remaining tomes in Jungalore regarding the history of humans, they are said to be from a distant star, having come here through what is said to be magical means. Upon their arrival, the first town they constructed was in a forest on the Corisca Mainland, which later became Cyndar, named after the first queen of Jungalore, Cynthia Darien Altena. Over time, powerful rulers rose and fell, some evil, some good, and on the turn of the millennia, the former king had been assassinated.

Before the cataclysm, humans lived generally normal lives, despite the loss of their leader. They were widespread among the towns, save for those they knew nothing of, and religion of Lumbraism to this day is still lead by humans.

After the cataclysm, most of the humans had lost their form, with many becoming a part of the red seas. Cyndar itself had been lost, and the surviving humans took refuge at Fort Frenga, a stronghold of the New Jungalore Knightage, an improvement over the Cyndar Knightage.
