Summary[edit | edit source]

Titans are one of six player races in Jungalore. They are moderately offensive and defensive with an inclination to offense. Due to their racial skill, they can reach the highest attack and magical attack in the game. They are recommended for players who like playing giants, or players who would like to try dual wielding weapons right away.

They are a very special race, having two extra skills rather than one. On top of being able to climb, they may regularly dual wield weapons, at least if the weapon allows.

Titans were once humans, similar to the Elvine and were born through swearing allegiance to the dark goddess Umbraria. It is debatable as to when they first emerged, but the records show that they likely came into being 3000 years after an event known as the first cataclysm. Far after humans had settled in Jungalore.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Titans look very much human, however, they are significantly taller. Where humans are five to six feet tall, titans are six to eight feet tall (but no taller). They possess the same sexual dimorphism as humans as well. Titans do have some unique traits as well. Nearly every titan is muscular, even as a scholar class, and titan males are more likely to grow facial hair.

History[edit | edit source]

Long ago, many years after the first cataclysm, it was said that the gate between worlds had opened. After the humans had arrived and the path home had been shut, it is said that some chose to search for a way home. Scholars moved to the far northern reaches of the Remnvald Archipelago, and thought to study the strange flow of magic there.

In those frozen lands, they found the entrance to the Shadow Realm.

Those who entered found themselves encountering demons, and they fought mercilessly against those that would attempt to tear them apart. Umbraria recognized their strength, and stopped the demons from attacking them, revealing herself to those that entered.

She made them a promise, that if they were to give up the lights in their souls, she could give them power, enough power to stay and research these lands beneath Jungalore. Those who denied this deal left and reported to the early Church of Lumbra. Those who stayed lost the light in their souls and gained unbelievable power.

They traveled the hellish lands and settled in the lowest levels, creating a town named Jotunheim. Yet, as time went on, the Titans gradually left their home, and now it is but a ghost town. They returned to Jungalore, and found that they were among the tallest and strongest of the races in the world. They assisted the humans many times in defeating their enemies, and the humans came to accept these allies.

After the second cataclysm, however, the titans were almost entirely spared. Most chose to settle in Vel Da Ir, said to be the homeland of their ancestors. There, they train with the houses to become strong enough to fight the threats ravaging the world.
