"Noblesse oblige. That is the best description of the oath of a samurai. They are noble ones who do not shame themselves or their clan, for it is dishonorable to do so, and against the code. It is a responsibility they impose upon themselves to do good for the people. Simply put, the Samurai represents the code of the Bushi-do! Their resolve and determination burns like the rising sun!"
Samurai are a class of swordsmen who combine the focus on high-speed, armor-bypassing attacks of the Ashigaru with the strength needed to wear heavy armor well. This combination of heavy-armor wearing, fleet footed warriors form the core of Vel Da Ir's elite defensive force.
Samurai, at quest level 100, change into a Daimyo.
All classes gain four stat points to allocate upon leveling up, and being that the samurai is a third class, they gain 250 life/will points to allocate upon leveling up as well.
For skills gained as previous classes, please see the Ashigaru page.
